I was looking at real estate in san antonio, tx for new houses and I saw no san antonio city taxes what does that mean?
The City of San Antonio has an “interlocal agreement” with the Bexar County Tax Assessor/Collector’s Office to provide property tax billing and collection services for the City.
The taxes are collected and paid to the Bexar county tax collector, and then divided according to a set division, dependent on district.
