What is ok to as put as accomplishments on resume?

I am fresh out of school and have no professional experience. I am trying to get into the interior design/decor field. I am going around today to various places and am putting together my resume. Since I have no experience, I put an accomplishments section on my resume. This is what I have…my adviser said to put in any accomplishments that highlights my creativity and activity in the arts, so I included photography and poetry accomplishments as well. Does this sound ok?

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Personal home renovation
Décor consultant for relatives and friends
Freelance architectural and street photographer
Published poet

Its a great start of what you have there however as an HR rep that hires I would make a suggestion or two. One main suggestion would be more descriptive. For example you have published poet as an accomplishment. While this is great, put on your resume where you were published even if it is a school publication. This allows you to sell yourself better and two it allows for the company to check that you have been published (I have had many say there were published and could not find anything)

While you may not have had any professional experience, you can always add school experience and activities that are art related to your resume. While these are not professional, it is still experience that can showcase the type of employee you can be.
