How can I , a black women with poor credit in fort worth texas purchase a new home with assistance?

I would like a 3 bedroom home anad I have tried. I am divorced and sort of like Tna Turner, I left with the clothes on my back. My credit is poor but I still want to own my own home somewhere in Fort Worth
