Property Management courses in Kissimmee/Orlando area in Florida?

I am a minor interested in becoming a Property Manager. I’ve been researching online and most sites say I need a college degree or a real estate license. Does anyone know where I can find a course for either real estate or property management in Kissimmee or Orlando, Florida? Also what course or license should I go about getting first? I know some form of further education is required but money is an issue as well. ALL help appreciated!

You definitely need a real estate license. There are lots of online and in classroom courses available in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. I went to the Climer Real Estate School. He doesn’t teach property management, but you he is funny and you can get your real estate license within 2 weeks – 4 weeks for about $500 – that includes course, book, test, finger printing for background check, etc. Trust me, you will get lots of phone calls from Brokers looking for “fresh meat” once you pass the exam. If you ask them if they have a Property Management Department, you may be able to find a company that will pay for your Property Mgmt training, or will provide it.
