House Builders In Oklahoma

am a disabled Cherokee and need money for land and building materials.?

disabled; I am Cherokee. I want to build green, and develop green projects both for the individual homeowner/builder and for the community. I need sources of money. The local housing authority and I don’t seem to click.( I’ll leave it at that.) The Cherokees don’t respond to my inquiries; I just receive emails trying to get me to enroll in Cherokee language classes. I have not tried to get any kind of green grant. I need specifics. I live in NE Oklahoma and want land next to running water. My disability is an illness and as you know, when your sick, things seem much harder to accomplish. I become discouraged with red tape; forms; endless refferrals and unreturned phone calls . Has anyone succeeded in securing funds for land or housing; green or not? If so, clue me in.. Please.

You can try searching grants.gov. But, I doubt you will find anything. If there is a tribal grant you need to obtain that from the Cherokee nation.
