How much would it cost to build a home in Costa Rica?

I had some land passed down to me in Orotina. My husband and I want to start planning on building something in the near future & need help developing a plan as well as budget. We would like something approx 3 bed rooms, maybe one or two slim line ac plug in units, a porch, carport, a laundry area, etc. It’s been some years since I’ve spent time there and I know prices are going up. Are there any builders/contractors anyone can recommend? we would like a green home as much as possible

There are a lot of good contractors in CR, many are Americans that build to US standards and ecofriendly.

This one has been building in CR for 20 plus years and I know he can help you get started and/or recommnend the right people like engineers and architects.
