Plumbing question: I already have a floor planned house at a downhill lot. The kitchen and a bathroom is…?
…located at the lower slope of the hill. Engineers are questioning where should the drainage and the septic-tank go. There’s already a house standing at the back of the planned house. They are asking me to consider to move the kitchen and the bathroom to a higher level. But that would ruin the floor-plan. Any advice or suggestion to make this right? Thanks in advance!
You could install a pump/macerater to chop and pump the waste to a higher level. I am installing a toilet in the basement of our house and that is how I intend to solve the problem of the sewer invert level.
